I have read with interest the announcement on the launch of Alfresco Team with iOS apps support.
Looking at the sample images on team.alfresco.com, Alfresco Team is a product which closely follows what we have been developing in-house with Alfresco Share.
This leads me to ask whether Alfresco is going to be generous to its Community by ensuring that the free iOS apps for iPhone and iPad, slated for release in July 2011, will be configurable to support connection and collaboration with existing Alfresco Share sites such as our own?
Of course, it may mean an update from our current Alfresco Community 3.4d version to add in any additions necessary but we will very happy to do that if it means that there is finally a viable way to use an iPhone/iPad with Alfresco Share. This is becoming an increasing demand from our users.
Thanks, in advance, for any advance information you can provide about these new iOS apps and existing Alfresco Share installations. I do hope that Alfresco can accommodate this request.
