Based on https://support.hyland.com/r/Alfresco/Alfresco-Process-Services/24.4/Alfresco-Process-Services/Upgra..., the old processes will still be using Activiti 5.x, and any new processes will run on Activiti 7.x with 'activiti.engine5.enabled' flag. We tested 'activiti.engine5.enabled=true', it only allows processing old processes, failed on any new process submitted in APS 24.4.
