First of all when I installed Alfresco the DB was empty, there isn't users neither the admin user, so I've done a dump from other alfresco and load it, as I can see my problem is the SOLR route, but I haven't change anything in there, I erased it once and restore it. Before that I thought it was an index problem but erasing it didn't work.
Right now it has been 3 days fighting, I've reinstalled it still doesn't work. Maybe it can be useful but I have also apache-SOLR installed, but don't know how can I see if this is the problem.
I've done 2 "chown -R" first one to give the owner to root, the second one gave the "postgres" user the owner to the folder "postgres" and "alf_data" cause it didn't worked with the owner in root.
Any solution will be welcome, sorry for my English I'm from Colombia.

Hello,

it would be usefull if you could post your alfresco.log as well. Currently, there is no information available in the posted log as to why /alfresco did not start up.

Unfortunately, I never use any of the installers, so I am not familiar with the setup that's installed on Linux. Have you tried doing a proper, manual setup instead?
Judging from your log output, your <catalina.base>/conf/Catalina/localhost/solr.xml seems to be missing the solrHome configuration or maybe it's pointing to the wrong directory. After fixing the reason for /alfresco failure, this would be the next thing to fix.

Chown should not be used as a blunt tool. "postgres" should only own the database directory "postgres", "tomcat" should own <catalina.base>, <catalina.home> and "alf_data". Root never needs to be given ownership of any files relating to Alfresco.

Regards
Axel

hehe sorry it was a stupid mistake, at the end watching catalina.out I find out that the log was because a DNS problem, it couldn't figure out the hostname.
