Alfresco share new page development with default theme

Hi,

I'm working on a web script that will be deployed to Alfresco Share. I have managed to get the page working in the share but, the problem is that the look and feel of the page is entirely different from the rest of the share site. One example is that the header menu is missing and other dash lets and other sections which are relevant to the share site are missing from my new page. I can understand that this is because I haven't included the correct CSS, JS files and might be missing some configurations. Can somebody help me fix this ? Also, is there are a nice document in Alfresco that describes about integrating a new page into the Alfresco site ?

Thanks in advance

You need to include header and footer in your template file.

Can anybody show me a sample code as to how to do that. I find it very difficult to search and identify things from google about this. Please share some code with me on this.
