for a evaluation we need some statements about the stability, performance and reliability of Alfresco running on windows or linux platforms. Is there any compare report or experience we can use to decide?
I think it runs faster on linux but I'm not sure due to the confonders in my testing. I would recommend trying both and accessing alfresco from a remote machine to test.
