Hi there,
not sure if this is an Alfresco question or an Openoffice one.
I've installed Alfresco and Openoffice on a Windows Vista machine. At the minute I'm at the testing phase and have hit on one problem that I can't seem to get around.
I create content and make it 'OpenDocument Text (OpenOffice 2.0)'. When I click on it a new browser window appears with the Openoffice toolbar and in the browser I get an Alfresco window asking for a username & password. No matter what I enter nothing happens, I'm still presented with the login window. My question is - what have I done wrong?

Many thanks in advance

Michael

Hi

Can you tell us which browser it is and which version of Alfresco?  Also, who are you logged on as in Alfresco?

What's the exact steps you're doing?  Is it:
- Login as admin
- Navigate to a space
- Add Content -> upload OpenOffice doc
- Click on which link in which window?  In browse space view clicking doc name link?

Cheers
Paul.

Hi Paul,
many thanks for the reply. In the end I had another problem which required a complete re-install and this seems to have solved the problem. Maybe I just didn't install it properly the first time Smiley Happy
