Alfresco Installation

Hi,
Can we install Alfresco 4.0.x Community versions in Windows 2012 R2 Data Center 64 Bit Version?
If NO, can you please share me the draw backs…

netstat does not show anything running on 50500 but it does show localhost 50505 connected to 3310 which is MySQL.  Would this cause the problem?

Also, where should I configure the Alfresco rmi services port?  I cannot find the custom-repository.properties file.  Should I add an entry "alfresco.rmi.services.port=50600" to the alfresco-global.properties file and change the "repo.rmi.service.port=50505" entry?

I've made the changes below to the alfresco-global.properties file in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Tomcat/tomcat/shared/classes but Alfresco still does not start.

not able to install alfresco community edition 4.2.f successfully on windows 7 enterprize 32 bit mysql 5.6.19,mysqlconnector 5.1.10
facing error–>error running with an vcredist_x86.exe/qrogram ended with an error exit code

while starting startup.bat tomcat crashes instatntly showing  –>Using CATALINA_BASE:   "D:\alfresco\alfresco\tomcat"
