hello everyone. My first time here.

I downloaded the 'Alfresco-Community-3.2-Linux-x86-Install' file and issued the executable as shown below.  It looks like it installed but when I try starting up with the following command /opt/Alfresco/alfresco.sh start   it returns this:

[root@mikeserver Alfresco]# ./alfresco.sh start
Using CATALINA_BASE:   /opt/Alfresco/tomcat
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /opt/Alfresco/tomcat
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/Alfresco/tomcat/temp
Using JRE_HOME:       /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_06

——- RUNNING Alfresco-Community-3.2-Linux-x86-Install ————

[root@mikeserver Collaboration]# ./Alfresco-Community-3.2-Linux-x86-Install

This will install Alfresco Community Edition on your computer.  Continue? [n/Y] y

Did you try to go to http://localhost:8080/alfresco?

At least that was all I needed to do when I installed it from the package. I did it with ubuntu and worked quite well.

You might want to take a look at the wiki: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Category:Installation

If you want further help, I think you need to provide more details.

You are installing a web served application. You just see that the server software started just fine.
Access the system as mentioned in the "Getting started" Guides in the wiki

Check alfresco.log and tomcat/log/catalina.out for more details, if it does not work.
