Alfresco Email server setup

All,
I have been trying to setup the email server on my alfresco hosted on Amazon cloud. I have changed the properties as mentioned in the forums

email.inbound.enabled=true
email.server.enabled=true
email.server.port=25
email.server.domain=<amazon instance value>
email.inbound.unknownUser=anonymous
email.server.allowed.senders=.*
‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

I have a space in Alfresco called "Email Inbox" which has an email Id 8745

I try to send an email using 8745@<amazon instance value> but it does not work.

Is there anything special that I need to do since my Alfresco is hosted on Amazon?

Hi Mr Freeze,

Is it possible that the security settings of the image you are using are not configured to allow for the sending and receiving of email?

Hi !

I think you have to add an email alias aspect, and then change the email alias in the space properties. Then you could send email to the space.

What is <amazon instance value> ?   Is it an externally resolvable IP address or is it an internal amazon thing?
