Alfresco CIFS

Hello all, I'm new to these forums.

I've done a fresh install of Alfresco community 3.4a, and tried use the CIFS interface to copy over 200gb to my Alfresco repository…

After an hour it refuses to copy more data and then cifs stops working, I cannot connect to it until I restart Alfresco.

Any ideas?

Are there any errors in your alfresco.log file?

Try FTP, I know it doesn't make a big difference from CIFS except for the interface and the protocol behind it.
I use Rsync to copy data to Alfresco particularly for bulk uploads.

No errors… but it stops working after 1,5 / 2 hours of file copy:

rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "/mnt/alfresco_tmp/METRIKA/ADMINISTRACION/Admin/Documentos escaneados/Documentos trabajadores/Núñez/VACACIONES" failed: Input/output error (5)

if I try to reach to the directory where the alfresco share is mounted (via smbmount):

server:/mnt/alfresco_tmp/METRIKA/ADMINISTRACION # ls
/bin/ls: .: Error de entrada/salida

Shows an I/O error…

I am having the same issue, i installed alfresco 3.3 on windows 2003 server.

any suggestion
