Alfresco 4.2e (64bit) can be used on Windows 2008 Server ?

Hi All,

Appreciate if anyone can confirm whether Alfresco 4.2e (64bit) can be installed on Win 2008 Server (64 bit) machine ? As now i'm stuck with error 'An IO error was encountered during deployment of AMP into the war'. This happened during a post installation.. fyi, same goes with installer 4.2c and 4.2d as i already tried it on the same machine and they returned a same error. Meanwhile, all of the installer can run successfully on Win XP. If anyone here had this error before/familiar with this error and can confirm on the hardware requirement, please advise.. Thank you in advanced.

I'm not sure that there is an "official" list of supported stacks for Alfresco Community.  The release notes for 4.2e can be found here:  https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Community_4.2.e_Release_Notes.  I do know that Alfresco Enterprise is certified on various stacks (including Windows Server 2008 R2 x64).  The list of supported stacks for Alfresco Enterprise can be found here:  http://www.alfresco.com/services/subscription/supported-platforms
