Records Management 2.0 was released on August 20. It is compatible with the latest version of Alfresco Enterprise, and the code is in the community SVN and awaiting the next community release. The announcement is here:

Thanks resplin,

when will the exact date of the open source version that will have rm2.0 in it? or 4.0e has this already?

I just purchased a powerful server to install this latest version as long it comes with the rm2.0 in it.

Yes, I am considering enterprise, but I need to able to show the latest open source version working first (after migrating existing 3.x into here).

any help? thanks.

On the download page there is a link to "Custom Installs & Optional Modules" that goes to this page:

http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Community_file_list_4.2.b

You will see the RM amp under the heading "Records Management" about halfway down the page.

Hi All,

Just to give you a quick update ..

RM 2.0.1 has been available for download since October time … it has all the new 2.0 features including support for SOLR .. it works on Alfresco versions from 2.0.1 upwards, including the latest 4.2.b community release.

RM 2.1 is now in development and is expected to hit the streets early summer … it will include in-place records management features and a few other key feature improvements.

Thanks,
Roy
