I was told that Alfresco 3 Community Edition would install with Oracle Express. I installed Oracle Express and when I tried installing Alfresco (same computer) it gave me the options to user Derby or MySQL. Does the community version not work with Oracle? I am also installing this for testing in Windows but plan to move to Linux if that matters.
Thanks.
JR
Thanks.

JR, you'll need to install Alfresco 3 Labs with either Derby or MySQL, and then change the appropriate properties files as per http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Database_Configuration#Oracle_Example.
My recommendation is to select Derby during install. That way you don't have to have an installation of MySQL running.

Ben
