Nabih Metri, Product Manager, provided a detailed overview of Knowledge Enrichment, emphasizing its capability to convert messy, unstructured enterprise data—such as PDFs, images, and documents—into structured, contextualized data. Knowledge Enrichment not only improves searchability but also enables sophisticated automation and AI-driven decision-making workflows. Nabih showcased practical use-cases like improved fraud detection through enhanced metadata and contextual data extraction from documents and images.
Hein Ragas discussed potential integrations with Alfresco, outlining future possibilities including hybrid deployments and connectors for seamless metadata enrichment within Alfresco environments.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, clarifying topics around data privacy, OCR capabilities, multilingual support, and pricing. The Knowledge Enrichment APIs are currently available in beta, providing developers with new tools to significantly enhance AI workflows and data quality.
