Alfresco 3.3 favorite sites broken

I did a fresh install of Alfresco 3.3, but it seems the favorite sites functionality in Share is broken. Neither clicking the star icon or clicking 'add "site" to favorites' seems to have real effect, except that the menu does update while I'm still on the page. It also seems that the post data when clicking the star icon is the following:
{"undefined":{"automation":true}}

Can anyone confirm this, or did I modify and break something?
Regards,

Michael

Probably broke something Smiley Wink

I just tested on my 3.3 instance, and it works.
Have you cleared your cache? Else you may run old javascripts if you run at localhost, that had a previous instance.
Or do you have an adblocker installed?

Incidentally the ip-adres for my host changed, but I've also cleared the cache and tried another browser, same situation there…

Yes I do (well at least in one browser), however disabling it doesn't change anything nor do I see a reason why it would affect this issue. I'll try to dig some deeper…

Ok, I solved it… I used my old extension and web-extension dirs. I modified the Alfresco Share template to change the title (gotta love having to change a huge file to modify one string), but the template has changed quite a bit between 3.2 and 3.3. Redoing my change against the 3.3 template solved it all.
Thanks for your suggestions and testing the issue on your install!

You're quite correct - I've now moved it to slingshot.properties. It's a shame this wasn't raised in JIRA; it would have made the v3.3 release.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the suggestion, will do in the future.

I didn't know 3.3 was actually released, the community download page also still lists v3.2.

There's some other files that I also have really small local modifications, like the alt text for the application logo (the logo itself can be changed in 3.3, yay!), should I put these on JIRA too?

I don't think it has officially, but we code-freeze long before the release date.

Yes please!

Thanks,
Mike
