Activiti and Alfresco

I see that Activiti is being developed out with a lot of Alfresco developers on the team and the diagrams point to Alfresco.  Will Activiti be incorporated in future releases of Alfresco(specific release?) to enhance its capabilities, or be external and provide ease of integration functions?

Hi,

Activiti will be integrated into Alfresco, serving as an alternative (and better ) implementation of the WorkflowComponent and TaskComponent.
The integration is being developed at the moment. Shouldn't take too long before activiti get's shipped inside Alfresco.
