Accessing current user

Hi,

I'd like to show the current user (the user that started the process instance) on my startForm, e.g. in the vacation request example, i d like to have the users name as the default value in the employeeName field). How could I do this?

Looking forward, the next step would be to have a list of all users on my form (best would be as a dropdown-list, but I think this is not possible with the actual form-renderer?). I need this list, because I want the user give the possibility to select the assignee for the next human task in the process. Any ideas?

Do you have any suggestions on how to bring a list of users to the frontend (activiti-forms)? Are there possibilities to do this with javascript? Are there plans to support lists in activiti-forms in the future?

There is a jira somewhere for creating a user picker as input for a form property.
