Access Alfresco's users information via cmis

Hi i'm trying to use openCmis to access alfresco users  information.
does openCmis support this feature ?
please could you help i've been working on that far 3 days, and no answer.

Hello,

CMIS 1.0 only supports folder- and document-type objects whereas the user information are stored in a different type of object (cmerson). Thus it is currently not possible to retrieve user information - which is one of the reasons why the Alfresco Workdesk (CMIS-based client) needs to have access to the same LDAP source its backends are using for consistent user / permission management.

Hello,

CMIS 1.1 does support a new cmis:item object type which would be suitable to retrieve user information. In fact, the <a href="http://docs.oasis-open.org/cmis/CMIS/v1.1/cos01/CMIS-v1.1-cos01.html#x1-650008">section on item object type</a> lists this as a likely use case.
