As organizations accelerate their move to SAP S/4HANA, they face a familiar challenge: how to modernize document‑centric processes without disrupting finance, procurement, and shared services operations. Legacy integrations don’t survive the transition to SAP’s Fiori‑based experience, and disconnected content systems introduce risk, inconsistency, and unnecessary manual work.
Hyland for SAP S/4HANA solves this by delivering a Fiori-native, OData-compliant integration that embeds secure document access, search, capture, and management directly into SAP workflows. No jumping between systems. No broken ArchiveLink connections. No reliance on outdated interfaces.
What the Solution Is
Hyland for SAP S/4HANA connects the Hyland Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) to SAP S/4HANA across public cloud, private cloud, and on‑premises deployments. From any SAP record, users can view, attach, capture, and manage documents - all within the Fiori experience they already know.
The integration is SAP-certified, cloud‑ready, and built using modern standards (CMIS/OData) to ensure long‑term compatibility and faster deployment.

Why We Built It
SAP’s shift from ECC (ERP Central Component) to S/4HANA has introduced urgency, especially with ECC support ending in 2027. Many organizations depend on document-centric processes that cannot break during migration.
We created Hyland for SAP S/4HANA to:
Hyland for SAP S/4HANA is also an important competitive alternative for organizations seeking a more flexible, customer-focused option than incumbent solutions.

What’s Coming Next: OnBase Support
Today, Hyland for SAP S/4HANA integrates with Hyland Content Innovation Cloud. Support for OnBase repositories is coming soon through Hyland’s Content Federation Service, enabling organizations to use their existing OnBase content directly within S/4HANA. Target availability: Q2.
This gives existing OnBase customers a clear, low-risk path to adopt S/4HANA without migrating all content on day one, extending the life and value of their current investment.
