Hello,
We have a simple need on my project : to create / edit some simple spreadsheets
For example, so as to book a meeting room. We basically need something like that :

==> I want the ability to create a spreadsheet (and presumably save in a Nuxeo document) and then edit the spreadsheet in place in the Nuxeo UI
What do you think would be the best solution to do it?

You obviously seem to be asking about a Nuxeo solution, but if this is actually for meeting room calendars and if you're already using a Google Apps account, then surely Google Apps resources are the best way to achieve this IMO.

Also, a connector was made to capture the document that is in google docs in Nuxeo: http://hg.nuxeo.org/sandbox/nuxeo-googledocs/
In Nuxeo , you create a google doc document, browse from Nuxeo google doc to choose which document to "synchronize" and then make sure Nuxeo will do the look up and bring the file back regularly.
Note that this would definitively need some clean up and require some java expertise to bring it to a more recent version of Nuxeo, but I did see it working!
