Quota limit to 1TB

It seems to be a limit in Quota, to 1TB, in documentation:

Is there any way to set it higher? What should I do if I need 2TB?

This is just the default user interface, actual code can choose arbitrary limits. This can be changed by modifying the widget template for the slider.
