Hello, wondering if you can help.

I have a lot of different filing cabinets full of paperwork in our business and it grows at a huge rate, also customers send us huge amounts every day. So I'm looking for something that allows me to bulk scan, OCR, index and store. Any solution would need to have a good API so we can integrate the store with our own application, could Nuxeo be the answer?
