just found this in the documentation:
"Proxy documents are not visible in CMIS (as of 5.4.1)."
Is anyone aware of this being resolved in the near future?

This enhancement is not scheduled. We could revisit the decision if there is customer demand.
Note that such a feature would make the database reads more complex and thus more costly to execute.
