We Hear You.
This is the first in our weekly blog series — a space where we share openly about how we’re building the Hyland Community Ecosystem. This ecosystem is more than just a collection of sites. It’s an integrated experience that aims to pull together the edges of our platforms, products, and services into something seamless — something that helps you do more, with less effort.

In April 2025, we took a huge step forward. But we know that with that step came disruption. Broken links, missing videos, lost content, data inconsistencies — we felt it too. And we’ve been working hard to fix it.

So far, we’ve repaired thousands of broken links across Community & Connect, restored hundreds of videos, and re-added hundreds of key documents and high-demand resources. We’ve met with groups of users and listened to every comment, every case, every post. Your feedback has guided this work, and we are extremely grateful for it. Please keep it coming.

We also know that some of you have felt like this experience isn’t ready — and that maybe we should roll back.

Let me be transparent: we hear that too. And there’s nothing more important to us than getting the experience right. But a rollback simply isn’t possible. The truth is, the technologies and systems that powered the old experience are no longer sustainable. They couldn’t scale, they couldn’t integrate, and many of the issues we’re fixing now were already problems in the legacy system.

Your data, your workflows, your security — everything is now evolving forward. Reverting would not only disrupt your current experience; it would make it impossible to maintain a reliable, secure, and integrated ecosystem.

In the first 50 days, we’ve made measurable progress we’re proud of. The platform is stable. We’ve patched issues. And now we’re focused on deepening the integrations and refining your day-to-day experience. We know we have a lot to do, but we are proud to do it for you. Please review our release posts via this blog or the Community status page for more info.

Going forward, we’ll use this blog to give you a look inside — at what’s changing, what’s coming, and how your feedback is shaping the next phase of the Hyland Community Ecosystem. We’ll talk about fixes, features, roadmaps, and yes, even the things that didn’t go as planned.

Coming Up
In next week’s blog, I’ll dive into why we chose Connect and Community to work side by side — and how we believe this pairing can be a game changer for how you engage with Hyland, find support, share knowledge, and stay informed.

Following that, we’ll be breaking down the state of search and what’s ahead on our roadmap. We think you’re really going to like where that’s headed — so stay tuned.

If there are other topics you’d like me to cover, please comment below. And as always, make sure you’ve subscribed to the Community blog so you don’t miss any of our future updates.
