Introducing Community Projects: Shaping the Future Together

At Hyland, we believe the best solutions are created not just for the community, but with the community. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of Community Projects—a new initiative designed to turn your ideas and feedback into the next generation of features and applications on Hyland Community.

What Are Community Projects?
Community Projects are experiments, pilots, and early releases—features and applications that are co-created with input from customers, partners, and Hyland employees alike. This is your chance to see what’s in development, try it out first, and influence what comes next. Your feedback is our blueprint: each Community Project is shaped directly by your experiences, suggestions, and needs.

Why Are We Doing This?
Innovation thrives when many voices are heard. We want to make sure that the tools and experiences we deliver truly reflect what our community values most. Community Projects give you a direct seat at the table, so together, we can build solutions that matter.

Introducing Our First Project: Cai—Community AI

We’re thrilled to unveil the very first Community Project: Cai, your Community AI research assistant.

Cai is an AI-powered search assistant designed to help you get the information you need, faster and more confidently than ever before. Instead of sifting through endless documents or discussion threads, simply ask Cai your question in natural language. Cai searches across trusted Hyland content and delivers answers backed by real documentation and sources—so you know you can rely on the information.

Key highlights of Cai:

  • Prompt-based input: Type your question as you’d ask a colleague, and Cai finds the answer.
  • Powered by your content: Cai pulls from Hyland’s knowledge base, product docs, and more.
  • Evolving together: Cai is launching as an MVP (minimum viable product). Your feedback will help us add new capabilities, refine the experience, and shape where Cai goes next.

How Can You Get Involved?
We’re inviting everyone in the Hyland Community to try Cai and tell us what you think. What works? What doesn’t? What should Cai be able to do next? Your insights will directly influence how Cai—and future Community Projects—develop.

Ready to jump in? Try Cai now and be part of the team that’s building the future of community support.
