YUI version and plans

Dear all

Please accept my apologies if I've put this in the wrong board.

We are currently evaluating Alfresco for our business critical web application project

My manager asked a question in a discussion and I was wondering if anyone can help me by discussing the following:

1 - What version of YUI is used by Alfresco Share?
2 - Is YUI planned to continue to be the technology of choice going forward? (I know, I know, who can possibly answer questions about the future)
3 - Is YUI a growing technology/skillset? Is it worth investing time in training?

YUI Version is 2.8.1 As far as I know.
Not sure about their future plan.

YUI is on 2.9.0 for Alfresco 4.

There are currently no plans to undertake a huge refactor in order to migrate to YUI 3.0
