I setup Alfresco to use NTLM for SSO and did not setup any users in Alfresco. The users are being authenticated against Active Directory when they login and that is working. My question is do I have to setup LDAP synchronization in order to retrieve email address information for these users, so that when Alfresco attempts to email a user or group that they receive an email as desired?
In other words will Alfresco query Active Directory to determine a user's email address when it attempts to send a group an email or does the email address have to have been replicated to the Alfresco datastore in order for the user to recieve an email?
