Working on custom content model

Hi Team,

I am new to the Alfresco and using Community 3.2 edition.

I have created a custom content model XML configuration file and placed under ".\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\model" folder.

My requirement is whenever the new document is created through Alfresco Web Client, it has to refer the custom content model rather than out-of-box content model.

Kindly tell me what configuration changes need to be done?

Take a look at Jeff Pott's article on custom content types:

It describes not only how to create custom content types, but how to expose these types in the Explorer interface.
