I want to make sure I understand the indemnity clause for the Enterprise Edition. In my organization we may work with a client that provides us with information in a document that is considered a trade secret. Let's assume I purchase the Enterprise Edition, install on a supported platform and follow all Alfresco guidelines on install, setup etc. Somehow our supported installed version of Alfresco is compromised and the trade secret is potentially revealed and the party threatens to sue. Do I read the Alfresco indemnity clause to read that Alfresco will accept some or all liability for this? Or am I to assume that my organization will accept all liability for this? If Alfresco assumes some or all the risk, than purchasing the Enterprise Edition makes sense in that it provides some type of protection. If Alfresco does not assume any risk, than using the Community Edition makes sense in that the main benefit of a purchase is not there for our organization.
Does this make sense? If not I can try to clarify.
