Workflow permissions issue

Hi,

I have the next work flow:
Space A - to here we add new contents. User A can add contents. Using work flow he moved the contents to Space B
Space B- user B use work flow on incoming contents and move them to Space C or reject to space A.

Because user B use work flow to move contents to space A/C he must have the permissions to add content to those spaces.

That cause a big problem because of this permission he now can start the work flow.

Any suggestion how to solve this?

I need something very basic that it does not seem to include in alfresco workflow permissions mechanism.

I need that a User A can move contents to other space (using workflow) without  see and edit  the other space.

I think that it is common workflow logic.

Has any one found solution for this issue.

Hi,

To move content to a space you must have the ability to write to that space. The post I pointed you to helps you create a writer role that does not include read (i.e. view) permissions.

If you can't see a space through the Alfresco web client UI then you obviously cannot edit it or its contents.

Hi,

I have done exactly as it mention in the post you point me, but because I have several content rules on the workflow spaces I get no permission error (as iguasch mention in the end of the post).

Since I must have those content rules, The Writer permission just does not work.

If you found a solution I will love to hear it.

The only way the workflow works is when i have write/read permission to the destination space, So thats does not work for me.

I found work around. 

I change the jsp so now every user can see only his user home and what under it (remove company home from navigation).
