Workflow Emailing Help, PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone.  I have been trying to alter the serial review workflow to send out emails to each approver on the list when it is his turn to approve the submitted content.  I have changed the submit_processdefinition.xml file in alfresco/workflow directory.

I am running enterprise 3.2 from a war file i got from my lead developer a couple of months ago.  Any help would be great as I cannot get this working.

I have 2 people on my list of approvers on a serial review workflow.  Basically I want to send an email to the next approver when it is his turn.  I used the Admin and another user from our LDAP server as the approvers.  The email is set in Alfresco for the LDAP user.  Here is what happens

1)   Admin submits the content for approval (used admin to make testing easier)
2)   Admin gets email from the code below saying it is his turn to approve (it doesn’t say that, but that is the intention)
3)   Admin tried to click on Approve to pass to the next approver on the list
4)   I get the following on screen error

A system error happened during the operation: 11220040 Failed to signal transition 'approve' from workflow task 'jbpm$136'

error in the alfresco.log file is:

Does your current assignee actually have an "email" property?     It's probably best not to assume that everyone has an email property and code defensively.

The way I understand it, I suppose that mrogers is telling you to include an if clause to verify if the value that you got from current_assignee.properties.email is not null.

Anyway, strictly speaking the error that you are being raised is:
TypeError: Cannot read property "email" from undefined (AlfrescoJS#1)

This typically occurs when you try to read a property from a null object. In this case, maybe the current_assignee object or its properties might not be set or retrieved.

Are you sure that the current_assignee object is properly set? Perhaps you could be retrieving a null value from bpm_assignees.get(wcmwf_approveCnt)
