Workflow Can assign multiple times for approval

Once document is sent for approval to reviewer …
Currently i can assign same document for approval when it is with reviewer…
How can i restrict this.

Please help me

You can create once space something called under approval.
then restrict all users from that space.
Once you start the workflow move the document under that space.  Smiley Happy

But it change the structure proposed, so what i think is, make that content hidden in the review state.
Then How can i do it.

you can make the remove all the actions from the task which are on content so that user can not do anything with content.
But the problem will be if user has the access on that content he can navigate to the place where it lies and can update that.
and I don't see any way to make it invisible. :wink:  Only way is to remove permissions temporarily.

Can we have a check in the start node only, whether the workflow is initiated for the same document previously..
If it id so how can i?

Hey coincidentally I had the same requirement.
Here is what I have done.
On the action start workflow add one action evaluator.
In that evaluator class check weather the workflow has been imitated on this document or not.
If no then only that action will be visible. 😎
It works for me.
