Word to PDF transformation problems

When I run a word to pdf transformation action I get the following error:

Failed to run Actions due to error: 02050010 Transformer for 'application/msword' source mime type and 'application/pdf' target mime type was not found. Operation can't be performed

anybody knows whats wrong?

I'm using alfresco version: Community - v3.2.0 (r2 2440)

Hi Kobbe,

Word to PDF transformations need OpenOffice to be running. See http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Setting_up_OpenOffice_for_Alfresco
Are you sure OpenOffice is installed, correctly configured and is running on your server?

I do have similar problem , we are using alfresco 3.3.4 . Open office is located remotely .Modified the files "remote-openoffice-context.xml" and modified the properties (openoffice.remote.ip=xx.xxx.xxx.xx openoffice.remote.port=8100) in custom property file .

Both of the above configurations did not solve the issue . Please suggest if I am missing anny thing else

Adding further information to my previous request , alfresco is hosted on unix box. The link which was suggested is specific to Windows.
