Why no backward compatibility ??

hi,
why the developers of activiti not maintaining backward compatibility…..As a developer who is going through the source code to add his own features, its very difficult for him to again redo the same study, as every month a new version comes with no backward compatibility…Y so..is there any specific reason for this ??

Hi DEV.

Actually there is: We worked hard for the last months on the 5.0 GA release. The GA is the first release which give some garantuees for this backward compatibility. Before the GA you hat alpha and beta versions, which may still change (and did as you see ;-)). To avoid that, you should have waited till the GA, but since it was released Wednesday your suffering has come to an end 😉
