Where to place an XML file?

I have an XML file that I need to read within my Webscript. Could you please let me know where I should be placing this XML file so it can be in classpath for my Webscript to pickup?

We are creating an AMP file and deploying the AMP into alfresco.war file

Got it, need to place in Config folder and during AMP file deployment will be placed in WEB-INF/* folder.
