when ProcessInstance ID saved on database

when processInstanceID and Task ID save [persist] on Database ? because after start ProcessInstance by key you can't get anything on database.

Hi,

The process instance id and the task id are persisted when you get a response from the startProcessInstanceByKey (or similar) method.
If you get an exception, nothing is persisted.
