WebDav Problem

I have some problem using WebDav. I've installed Alfresco on W2003 server and I succesfully used webdav access. I make the same installation on WinXP Sp2 and on Fedore Core 5 and I can't access with webdav functionality.
I make some test with WinXp sp2 and i realize that:
- using Explorer i get the error after login: can't use web folder view.
- using Word 2003 to access a document in webdav directory works fine (also the update)

I can't understand which kind of problem is.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for making great software!
I am experiencing the same Webdav issue. I cannot mount a webdav drive in windows, but webdav listings are ok in internet explorer. Drive mounting says something like "invalid folder" (its a french OS)

setup :
* french win server 2003
* fresh 1.2.1 alfresco windows installer

2 users acessing fine with CIFS or web client.

hope that will help… i am trying to get sort-of inline editing like sharepoint, but i cant manage to get this work with alfresco.

I dont know how they do it in sharepoint (activex control?)… alfresco webdav link is not recognized as network file, but only usual read-only http file

Did i make a mistake in my config?

edit: i will also try linux install, wich would actually be our production platform if we choose Alfresco as our production CMS
