When I try to create a new folder in OS X 10.4 through WebDAV, I get the error:

The operation could not be completed
An unexpected error occurred (error code -43)

I've not been able to find much info about this error on the net. Are any other mac users having this problem? Is it an issue with my installation of Alfresco / Environment?

Server
Alfresco Community 2.0
Powerbook G4

Client
OS X 10.4.9
MacBook Pro

By the way, this works fine from within Windows.

I'm experencing same problem accesing WebDav folder from Mac OS X Tiger. Server platforms does not matter. Tried on Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD… Using Alfresco 2.0 Community edition.

Having a similar issue here, but only for Renaming a file. Renaming works fine from Windows, so it must be related to the way WebDAV access is handled. I furthermore realised differences in abilities what one can do via a WebDAV folder as well under Linux/Kubuntu. Somehow all implementations of WebDAV differ?
I'm always using Alfresco 2.1 currently and in OS X I have 10.5.2, all updates.

I think it may be related to the way Unix creates a folder (whether you are using Linux or OSX), where the folder is actually created first, and then needs to be renamed.

In Windows, when you create a folder, it is not committed till you name it.
