web service > Alfresco > WebDAV server?

I'm currently using a different CMS, but need to enable it for a very simple web service (get a CMS file, replace it with the doc from the web service).

As a short term workaround, I'm wondering if Alfresco could act as the web service "listener" and do WebDAV puts/gets to my CMS's WedDAV interface.

Is this possible without an inordinate amount of work?  Smiley Sad

Thanks in advance.

dafletcha,

I work for Apatar, an open source data integration tool ( http://www.apatar.com ).

Apatar does support WebDav natively and allows to move files from any CMS that suppports WebDav to another WebDav folder, FTP or a database.

We have the following connectors available as of April 15th, 2007: MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, PosgreSQL, Sybase, Salesforce.com, XML, FTP, POP3, CSV, XML, WebDav, Amazon.Com and even Flickr.

Please check it out and let me know if it worked for you.
