Hi, I use the Activiti core to develop an interface as ActivitiExplorer but using Smartclient (http://www.smartclient.com/) as frontend. I use Spring MVC, Spring Security and Spring LDAP. The integration is perfect and the Activiti API has all the needed to manage workflow and focus on business and presentation logic. Good works!
