I have istalled alfresco using the WAR file. Does this include the Alfresco WCM  or do we have to install it from the alfresco-enterprise-wcmqs-3.4.0.zip file

Thanks

Hello,

Though I have not worked on the latest version of Alfresco 3.4 - if you have installed alfresco from a war file, it will not have WCM installed by default.

You will need to copy wcm-bootstrap-context.xml file to extension folder and restart the server. Then just do a sample sanity test and check if web projects and web deployed folder are present or not under company home space.

Which server you are using? The extension path for putting wcm-bootstrap-context.xml file into extension folder may vary based on that.

I hope above information helps.

Thanks,

Hi,

I am using Alfresco Share and Explorer v3.4 with Tomcat 6 and deployed the applications through manual install as I had to maintain a custom applications' structure I already have.
Do you know where is the Alfresco WCM war file to deploy it on my tomcat?

Cheers,
Pedro.

just an update:

on link http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Community_3.4.d_Release_Notes, it is said that "alfresco-community-AVM-3.4.d.zip contains alfresco-wcm-examples-version.zip and alfresco-community-wcm-version.zip"
however, that zip file does not contain those files.

cheers,
Pedro.
