View a list of logged in users.

Apologies if this is a repeat of a previous topic.

I'm wondering if there is a simple admin / api function that allows an administrator to view list of the currently logged in users?

If it doesn't already exist, what would be required to put this feature together? There must be at least one implementation that has attempted this? Any experience in the community?

I believe you can do this in Enterprise using JMX. But JMX is not supported in Community Edition. There may be a non-JMX way to do it, but I don't know what it is.

Here is a suggested solution, one which I haven't attempted. Anybody tried this?

Other than that it does look like Enterprise and JMX is the way to go. Would be lovely to see this make it into Community.

Sorry, but JMX is likely to remain an Enterprise-only feature.
