Video format for content

Does Alfresco Web Content Management allow for all video formats?  Specifically, I am asking in regards to BrightCove.  Thanks.

Alfresco will handle any type of content stream.

However I'm not aware of any content transformers or meta data extractors for Bright Cove so there will be some limitations.
