Version 2.9b - Calendaring Standards?

Hello,

Are there more details regarding the Calendaring functionality shown in the early releases of 3.0 enterprise (2.9b)?  We have a project on the table that will require integrating the Alfresco calendaring functionality with a CalDav or iCal over WebDAV type integration strategy to enable common calendaring across multiple applications.

Ideally, we'll want to have the Alfresco calendar web client component read and publish calendar events/appointments. We would like to understand where Alfresco might be going with the calendar as it relates to some of the standards out there for integration.

Hi Matt

We're currently going through our plans for the next few releases which includes what will be available and when on the Enterprise line.  I expect we'll be sharing that with everyone in the next couple of weeks.  We've got a big 2008, so we want to make sure we're clear on our focus to ensure we can give clear direction for our customers and partners.

As a partner, you do have the option of contacting us more directly if timelines are critical for you and a more informal briefing is needed.
