Valid Transformations

Hi,

In 1.4 with OpenOffice installed, what transformations are valid?  Is this documented somewhere?  I am assuming that some transformations are not valid (PNG to text).

Hi,

The basic transformers are listed in:

alfresco/content-services-context.xml‍

The OpenOffice transformations are managed in:

alfresco/mimetype/openoffice-document-formats.xml‍

As rule, if you can perform the OpenOffice conversion using the OpenOffice GUI, then you can do it via Alfresco-JOOConverter.

If it's metadata you're after, there'll be libraries to get that from the PNG.  And you'll need a MetadataExtractor.
