Using LDAP, want CIFS

Hi,

I'm trying Alfresco and I love it. Wishing to deploy it on our school. Situation is - we have openldap storing usernames and passwords (for wireless access, moodle, joomla, our applications). I've succesfully configured Alfresco to use it but as I see and read about it - if I use Openldap I loose CIFS. I don't (and don't want to) have AD. Is there any posibility to configure Alfresco to use OpenLdap and stil have CIFS?

So LDAP with CIFS does not work…

Will it be possible in the future to use CIFS and LDAP authentication together? I can not find anything in roadmap?

You can add samba ontop of your ldap authentication.
