Using Alfresco 5.0a from a Mac?

Is there any specifically supported browser list for Mac users that gives full functionality and releases are tested against?

It appears Safari has issues with the Document Library (doesn't display any items).  Chrome doesn't allow in-line editing, apparently due to NPAPI deprecation breaking some SharePoint plug-in upon which Alfresco seems to rely.  I'd like to be able to recommend a particular browser for our users as a "standard".

I may not have a real answer, but my experience with the most recent versions (Safari 8.0.7, OSX 10.10.4 on Alfresco 5.0d) is that i see no problems at all. Do you experience missing items from different Macs? A good start to investigate might be to take a look at the console in the Safari developer tools, which has to be enabled in the preferences.

Same missing items issue on all Macs.  From googling around it appears it's a well known issue on the web.  IE suffers the same thing, but there's a workaround for that (which unfortunately doesn't work for Safari).  Might just be 5.0a specific.  Unfortunately, I've had no luck with the 5.0d upgrade process so far.  I end up with a completely broken system and have to roll back every time I try it.  😕
