Hi Activiti Developer,
i try the user task reassign feature
( see also http://forums.activiti.org/content/process-initiator-not-gr-member-proceed-bpmn-process#comment-1671... as basis)
Brief: kermit is ordered to group A. fozzie is ordered to group B. Only groups are used on business process.
Now, if fozzie receive the user task. It DON'T claims such user task, but reassign to gonzo.
After reasigning this already reassigned user task will be not disappear by fozzie. The "Claim" button will be not deactivated.
I logged in as gonzo and complete such task.
Then, i return to browser with fozzie and ckick on "Claim" button. The error message
"Claiming the task failed , Cannot find task with Id …." will be displayed.

P.S i know, that Activiti Explorer is de-facto a demo. Are you planned to fix it?

Thanks.

I logged in as gonzo and complete such task. Then, i return to browser with fozzie and ckick on "Claim" button. The error message
The task has been completed, it no longer exists. The browser fozzie is using didn't refresh the "my tasks" view I presume or stayed on the task detail page. We don't use PUSH Smiley Wink

After reasigning this already reassigned user task will be not disappear by fozzie. The "Claim" button will be not deactivated.
Again, did you refresh the task-detail page? Because when a task has an assignee, there is NO claim-button…

What you mean under refresh?? How to to do it??

The Activiti Explorer do'nt support the normal refresh possibility like F5 ;.) Because A.E uses the Vaadin Framework.
The Activiti Explorer  (5.11) has no "refresh" button like fire refresh (imho)
Only if i select the fozzies' job queue and explicitly cklick on the displayed entries (also user groups with fozzies  as member), - after such operation fozzie has no more tasks:-((

Imho - after "Done" in Reassignment dialog must be the action fired, that refreshes programmatically the GUI state…

Yes, you are correct. It's annoying me too.
I'll see if I can tweak it.

Hi Joram,

Is there any solution in Activiti Explorer to solve this? The Explorer web-app currently runs on Vaadin 6 framework which does not resend the request to server on pressing F5, just caches the window.

Thanks,
Shuchi
