User not available for a workflow task

How can one re-directs his/her  workflow task to another user if he/she is on not available, say he/she is on leave?

There is reassign facility provided that link will be available to the user to whom task is assigned.
So, that user can reassign that task to whoever he likes.

Thanks for the reply.
My requirement is for a user to assign or re-direct all the tasks that will be sent to him/her while on leave to another user/colligue before he/she goes. Basically, the tasks that will be sent to him/her will be forwarded to another user chosen by him/her while he/she is gone until he/she is back, like an out-of-office feature.
