User can't be invited to sites

I have a user who, when I try to invite him to a particular one of our defined (private, moderated) sites, his Add button is grayed out, but he doesn't appear in the pending lists for that site. He has been successfully added to one other site, but only to one.

Where should I be looking? Our user accounts are integrated with LDAP, and since it's worked once, I'm not suspicious of LDAP. Also, I have other users who have joined multiple sites without problems.

Hi,

Try to look in workflow console. Look for an invitation workflow related to your user and cancel it.

When I try accessing the console, I just get a 404. The Wiki says I need to be logged into the alfresco/ interface, not the share/ interface – how is that done? There's no link to log in from siteort/alfresco….

I'm using http://alfresco:8080/alfresco/faces/jsp/admin/workflow-console.jsp. Is that correct?

If it is your local system, it should be :
http://localhost:8080/alfresco/faces/jsp/admin/workflow-console.jsp

My instance's host name actually is

alfresco‍

; I should've made that clearer. Accessing it as

localhost‍

won't work for me since it's a server VM without a GUI, so there's no way to run a browser on it.

I picked the hostname because my users are very literal….
